For the past week or so, I've noticed a particular young woman visiting her baby when I've been in the NICU. She was with her girlfriend yesterday, in the NICU waiting area, and I heard her say that a nurse had asked her if there wasn't someone who could be there to comfort her. I figured something must be wrong with the baby, but didn't know what it was. Another mom told me in the lactation room tonight that Baby Rihanna died last night.
So sad.
