Skyler started day care this week. :( She seems to be transitioning to her new environment well, though, and will likely be speaking Spanish soon. We're still working on the English, but she is babbling and testing the volume of her voice more and more. She also started waving the week of Christmas when Gina was here. Skyler's 7th tooth broke through and it looks like she's taking a break from teething because she is FINALLY in a really great mood for extended periods of time. She had had a rough start with all of her gastro issues and then rolling right into teething, so I'm hoping she has a nice long break from teething and can enjoy life for a bit! Being in pain is no fun! She is loving all of her toys and is fitting into most of her 12-month clothes well, despite being a skinny minny. She now eats table food and loves just about anything that is NOT baby food - mousaka, spanikopita, omelettes, mashed potatoes - you name it, she'll eat it.
