oh, you poor thing!
but you may be able to retrieve stuff off the hard drive still! i did! i even have the tool you need to do it, an "enclosure device." let me know if it is a computer issue that did not affect the hard drive inside... blue screens and whatnot i think are indicative of that. banging hard drive noises are not.
of course, then my backup drive crashed too.. haha.
